Thinking of a nice city break for you and the family?

London has an abundance of family friendly activities for all ages and staying in the Q Apartments dotted throughout the city centre helps make your holiday apartment a home from home. The aim of staying in our London serviced apartments is to make your trip as relaxed, comfortable and easy as possible, perfect for a family breakaway. Check out our list below for some brilliant family fun in London and, best of all, some of these activities are even budget friendly!

Cycling Tours are a great way for the whole family to get around London while taking in the city on two wheels. Visit all the historic monuments London has to offer; the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben among others. Soak in the rest of London by having a relaxing cycle by the rivers, through the city and into the many parks scattered throughout London.

The Horniman Museum and Gardens is fantastic for kids, there are free activities, it has an aquarium, a hands-centre and a Nature Base complete with live animals! Guaranteed to make the kids day. Entry is free with charges for the aquarium and some exhibitions. The museum lies on 16 acres of beautiful gardens perfect for picnics, making it the perfect way to finish off the day.

The kids will absolutely love the thrill of whizzing around on a Speedboat Tours, while taking in the beautiful sights from the Thames. An expert guide will point out all of London’s famous landmarks the London Eye, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast. This is definitely a tour with a difference!

Finally, enjoy a meal at the Rainforest Café, located in the West End, where your family can enjoy a tropical rainforest experience while they eat! Watching the waterfalls, lightening, rain showers, mist, wild animals and real tropical fish help give the restaurant that unique tropical experience.
