The EFG London Jazz Festival is a 10-day event celebrating all things jazz. Held annually every November, it is the capital’s biggest pan-city music festival. It brings some of the genre’s biggest names along with some of its brightest up and coming stars staging over 300 gigs throughout the city.
This mix ensures the festival, now in its 23rd year, remains a favourite among Jazz aficionados and novices alike.
A city-wide event, concerts are held in a variety of London iconic venues: the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican and the smaller jazz venues such as the legendary Ronnie Scott’s.
One of the many reason for the festival’s continued success are the free shows that are put on over the 10 days. It’s not just music on offer, there are also film screenings and special in-depth talks on different jazz styles and performers.
An impressive line-up has already been announced including Jamie Cullum, Ice-T, James Farm, Average White Band & Kokomo, Jarrod Lawson, Manu Katché & Ibrahim Maalouf, Kamasi Washington, Terence Blanchard and many more. With 30-gigs-per-night the EFG London Jazz Festival has something for everyone. Most shows sell out so get your tickets early!
