Stay Your Way In Our Serviced Apartments When Travelling For Business

There are many reasons to stay with Q Apartments, one of the features that guests, particularly those travelling for corporate trips enjoy most is the free Wi-Fi in each of our properties. When travelling for work Internet access is essential for a hassle free trip.

Here are some other tips for the business traveller:

  • Develop a packing system
Experienced business travellers have their packing down to an art form. Carry on is key to a stress-free trip, no wasting time at the baggage carousel on arrival or your bag ending up in Berlin when you’re in London. A top tip is to pack clothes that are versatile, that can be mixed and matched with each other, and always pack extra essentials, such as underwear and socks. Try and choose outfits that only require the same pair of shoes. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the local weather and pack accordingly.
  • Charge all your devices
Corporate trips can be stressful enough without the added worry of your phone or laptop’s battery dying while on the road or air. Make sure to have all your devices fully charged the night before, it will remove the stress of having to find a socket and leave you with more flexibility and options to get through your work. If travelling to London from abroad and only have one travel adaptor bring an extension lead to use for all your devices.
  • Sleep
At Q Apartments we pride ourselves on the comfort of all our properties, and for us the bedroom is the most important room. When away from home it is important to feel comfortable and enjoying a good night’s sleep is paramount to make for a productive and successful trip.
  • Be Prepared
Do you need to bring hard copies of your presentation or reports? Don’t assume your meeting locations will have printing capabilities for you to easily access, you’re setting yourself up for a potentially disastrous situation. Make copies of what you need on your last day at the office before the trip. Your work items checklist: printed handouts, business cards, pens and a notebook, laptop, mouse and charger.
  • Sightseeing
London is one of the greatest cities in the world with lots of iconic sights, including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge. Q Apartments is the perfect base to enjoy the most the city has to offer. If visiting for a corporate trip, you can easily extend a brief business trip into a leisurely mini city break. Book your meeting for Friday morning, a return flight for Sunday afternoon, and you potentially have an entire weekend in which to visit the local sights and sample regional specialities.
